Overlooking a backdrop of the iconic Glass House Mountains our 18 acres of gardens are surrounded by stunning waterfalls & lakes which only add to the majestic nature of this unique attraction that sits high on the escarpment. Four walk-through aviaries are home to over 700 native and exotic birds from around the world. Get up close & personal on our daily interactive guided tours.
Enjoy a cuddle with our miniature farm animals petting zoo as part of your garden experience! Meet Alfie, the miniature micro donkey. We also have babydoll sheep, miniature goats, chickens, rabbits and guinea pigs.
Maleny Botanic Gardens & Bird World offer a spectacular day out for the whole family, just an hour from Brisbane in the Sunshine Coast Hinterland!
Maleny Botanic Gardens is open everyday from 9am to 4.30pm and the aviary tours will run at 10.30am, 11.30am, 1:00pm and 2pm, extra sessions available from 12.00pm on weekends. Get your tickets here and come explore this secret away in the Sunshine Coast.

- The time you select is the time of your tour, you are welcome to enter the gardens prior to this time
- All children under the age of 16 years must be accompanied by an adult 18 years or older
- Confirmation in the form of a tour voucher will be received at time of booking
- Upon completion of purchase, please print the voucher and present on day of entry
